Sale of Livio AB (SE) to GeneraLife, owned by KKR (US) – Amount not disclosed

Carnegie acted as sole financial adviser to the owners of Livio in the sale to GeneraLife, owned by KKR. The main owners of Livio will continue to support the combined group and will reinvest a significant part of their proceeds in GeneraLife. Livio is the leading Nordic fertility clinic chain and a pioneer within IVF, conducting more fertility treatments than any competitor while having the highest and most robust clinical results. GeneraLife is the third largest IVF group in Europe with 37 clinics (before the partnership) within assisted reproduction and gynaecology in 5 countries; Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Sweden. KKR is a leading global investment firm that offers alternative asset management as well as capital markets and insurance solutions.
